Regular maintenance of basket mills

　 Maintenance of mills is important, now the ways of basket mills maintenance are introduced as follow:

    After each batch production, you should clean all parts thoroughly and timely in case those materials get dried and affect its working performance. To help cleaning, you can immerse the grinding basket into solvent for a while, then run the machine shortly. In this way, you can easily clean it and remove the residual materials if any.

    Except cleaning after batch production, you also need to check and replace some parts in time, esp. the copper bushing, dispersing disc, impellers, sieve mesh and grinding beads. They all belong to easy wear parts. If any of them are not replaced in time, it will weaken the grinding effect or even destroy the machine.

    The copper bushing is to protect the main shaft and you need to check regularly and replace timely. otherwise, if the copper bushing is worn out and you didn’t replace, then the shaft will be damaged. If you let the dispersing disc and impellers work for a long time, they will have abraded at different degrees and its grinding effect reduced. So you should inspect regularly and replace if they are seriously abraded. As to the grinding beads, they will abraded to small size or broken after grinding, so to keep its grinding effect and improve its efficiency, you should sort out the smaller beads or broken beads and fill with new grinding beads in case the smaller or broken ones block the sieve mesh and materials sustained in the grinding basket.
